TWWT

Tiffinity's Weekend Weather Theory:

The fineness of the weather is proportional to the amount of work I have to complete.

... I wish this weekend was as nice as the last one which I spent on revising for a test...

Maybe I could turn this theory around by doing more work this weekend. So that when the busy weekend comes, (and the weather is perfect) I could actually go out and play?

Sounds good. WEeK 8 lEctUres - HeRe I cOmE~~

"negatively proportional" means as one variable increases, the other also increases in magnitude, but opposite in its direction.
"inversely proportional" means as one variable increases, the other will decrease accordingly.

So, Tiff, in your case, your workload is one variable. Let's call this w. (i.e. let w = Tiff's workload)
The second variable (duh!) is the weather. Or rather, its 'fineness' thereof. So let f = weather fineness.
Tiff's theory states that as w decreases, f also decreases. Therefore w is proportional to f. [1].

Insofar, this theory is correct. But let me take this further. We can also reference the variable f. The equation [1] holds so long as there is no "negative fineness", i.e. f >= 0.
(Where ">=" means "greater than and equal to".) We note also that w >= 0 (for there cannot be "negative work" - unless Tiff is getting someone else to do work on her part - but for the sake of this theory, let's leave it =P).
Then, we see that w can increase/decrease accordingly and f can do so correspondingly.

But what happens when f < 0 ? Because we aren't technically measuring the weather in terms of degrees Celcius. It is "fineness" according to the TWWT. Therefore, if we can say that f < 0 is a possibility, when we mean, in plain-English, "not fine".
Thus, Tiff's theory can then be expanded to show that when workload increases, weather is increasingly getting "finer" (oops, almost typed "finger" there =P) (shown in equation [1])
And when workload decreases, then weather is increasingly getting "not finer" (not good speaking English here). This then means that for this case, w is negatively proportional to f . [2].
Hence we can put out two equations together to form the Tiff's Weekend Weather Fundamental Theorem, under part 1.1 of the Tiff's Weekend Weather Theory [TWWT] as such:

1. w =workload (w >= 0)
2. f = weather "fineness" (f = R... where R = "all real numbers")
3. w is proportional to f when w is increasing
4. w is negatively proportional to f when w is decreasing

@_@ Sam..... thanks..... !!!!!!!!!!!!.. speechless... i don't think TWWT stands anymore. Workload is indefinitely high anyway... >_<

another thing i heard was. If the life equation doesn't balance, by adding God, everything balances out. Bet you don't have a mathematical theory to that!!! (well, i hope..)

thanks for dropping by.
