Backyard Make-Over!
Just came back from the backyard make-over! It was a lot of fun. Strugggled 20 mins to get up this morning. (8:15) and then somehow made it to Boronia by 9am. Got recruited to pull weeds. Not super hard, just a bit tiring. then i helped to push the wheelbarrow and tip the trash into this great big landfill. Someone commented that it was like an ant carrying something bigger than itself. Did that for a couple of rounds and then Justin took over.
Then helped to pull more weeds. then helped Josh and Steph with the tomato trees. Hope the sticks hold up! Was lots of fun overall! had sausages and cake for lunch~
So why was I doing this? Just a community work run by the young adults from church. Just a simple way to show our love to people. ^_^ Be a blessing to others! The elderly couple that lives there is genuine needy. The husband just recently had a stroke. The wife has visual impairment. It was her birthday today too! hence, the cake!! ^_^
