Breast Implant
Yep. Steph and I saw a breast implant today. All you do is cut a hole and stuff a circular jelly pad inside. didn't take long really. I don't think it was symmetrical though. the surgeon blamed it on the rib cage...So why did it happen at royal *CHILDREN'S* hospital? She's 18 and is an XY Female (gonadal dystrophy). What it means is she has no female reproductive system (like ovaries and breast etc...) but she looks like a woman. She was born to be XY (ie MALE) but the Y is not working (or something like that)... so phenotypically a FEMALE.
Poor kid... lots of social implications being an XY female... What to do?
