Another one of those

I hate it when it happens.

There sure is a spiritual warfare going on... Churches seem to be attacked by the devil. It just reminds us how fragile and vulnerable we are. One can easily commit serious sins.

I must look into the mirror and make sure I live a life of integrity. It is my deepest prayers that those in the leadership or powerful positions in the churches will stay strong. And I must be cautious too when i deal with people.

can we trust everyone?

Cynical

So i found out my cousin has been reading my msn blog. I better not contaminate her innocent year eight mind by writing any inappropriate blog entries there!

My GP placement has given me an ugly but true view of the society. I was ranting to yi-ning about how unfair the world is. Seeing that specialist fees are enormous nowadays and GPs are burning out and underpaid - what is the government going to do about it? Apparently in the U.S., the GP rebate bill was doubled and specialist rebate was halved. That seemed to bring back more GPs. In Australia, sadly, only 27% of med students will become GPs.

On another issue, I hear about tragic stories that happened to some patients. I just felt so upset by it. So angry by the circumstances that people had to go through. "Where are you God?" That question creeped up again. I know God is watching. God knows every cruelty that is going on. He *is* just and He *will* punish those who ought to be punished.

Now i seriously understand the Health Practice theme of "confidentiality". There are things I want to complain but I can't disclose information. But what I will say is that there're seriously some disgusting general practitioners out there and I'm glad the Medical Board is *now* getting on top of these sickening practices.

Where has the world come to with regard to sacred sex reserved for marriage? Nowadays, I just half judge the young patients, thinking they must be the 'norm'. I actually get *surprised* by caucasian girls in their early 20s who have not had sex yet and I would advise them not needing to have pap smear yet. I hope I don't offend anyone here. I just hold my own belief.

As you step more and more into people's lives in general practice, you walk with people in their journey. It is a real priviledge but I fear my power as a medical professional.

All in all, GP is a wonderful career. You see mainly good things although the few bad things seem to stick in your mind a lot longer.
